CompiledHapticDef

Struct CompiledHapticDef

Source
pub struct CompiledHapticDef<'a> {
    pub name: &'a str,
    pub program: Program<'a, MonotonicCurveLut256>,
    pub profile: Option<&'a MotorProfile>,
}
Expand description

A named, compile-time haptics definition emitted by code generation.

Fields§

§name: &'a str

Symbolic name from the source haptics definition file.

§program: Program<'a, MonotonicCurveLut256>

Typed DSL program ready for crate::Runner.

§profile: Option<&'a MotorProfile>

Optional motor profile associated with this haptic.

The runtime uses it for kick injection, level floors and ceilings, and gamma mapping. None disables all profile-driven runtime transforms.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<'a> CompiledHapticDef<'a>

Source

pub const fn new( name: &'a str, program: Program<'a, MonotonicCurveLut256>, profile: Option<&'a MotorProfile>, ) -> Self

Build a compiled haptic definition.

Program validity and motor compatibility are checked when constructing a runner, not here.

Source

pub fn runner( &'a self, motor: MotorConfig, ) -> Result<Runner<'a, MonotonicCurveLut256>, Error>

Build a Runner for this compiled haptic.

Source

pub fn runner_started( &'a self, motor: MotorConfig, now_ms: u32, ) -> Result<Runner<'a, MonotonicCurveLut256>, Error>

Build and immediately start a Runner for this compiled haptic.
