The book compatibility matrix claimed 161 total examples, but investigation reveals discrepancies between:
- Book test-status.md counts (old, from v1.69.0/3.38.0)
- Actual ruchy code blocks in current book chapters
- Compatibility matrix claims
## Detailed Findings
### Chapter 2: Variables & Types
**Claimed** (test-status.md): 10 examples, 8 passing (80%)
**Actual** (book content): 8 ruchy code blocks
**Working**: 7/8 (87.5%) - 1 is intentional error example
Code blocks:
