# magi-code 0.90.1
## Fixes
- Claude subscription now finds Claude Code at `~/.local/bin/claude` when `claude` is not on `PATH`, a common setup on Linux and WSL.
- The Claude CLI sign-in check allows slower CLI startup, so cold starts under WSL no longer look like a missing install.
- When Claude subscription is unavailable, the error now says why: `claude` could not run, sign-in check timed out, not signed in, not a claude.ai login, or a conflicting variable such as `ANTHROPIC_API_KEY` is set.
## Other changes
- Docs now say where magi-code looks for `claude`. Claude subscription still requires Unix; on Windows, run magi-code and Claude Code inside WSL.
