### Agent context controls
Agents can inspect current context-window usage and preserve critical facts across agent-requested compaction.
**How to use:** Enabled by default. Keep `/settings` → **Tools** → **Magi control actions** → **Allow agent-requested compaction** enabled. Agents use these controls automatically when needed.
## Fixes
- Keep the right-column tab rail visible when its panel is hidden, and prevent Tab navigation from unexpectedly reopening the panel.
- Replace technical completion-verification notices with clearer messages while retaining diagnostic details.
- Simplify empty transcript and website preview chrome by removing obsolete standalone status marks.
## Other changes
- Remove Jev compaction verification and its settings. Normal compaction and other Jev features remain available; no action required.
- Refresh the README and documentation structure, with historical ADRs, PRDs, and plans moved into the documentation archive.
