Expand description

A rendezvous/relay control message. See the 2b spec for direction/semantics.

Variants§

§

Register

Fields

§node: NodeId
§counter: u64

Monotonic per-node freshness counter (anti-replay). Strictly increasing across a node’s registrations; the relay rejects any Register whose counter is not greater than the last seen.

§

Lookup

Fields

§node: NodeId
§

PeerInfo

Fields

§node: NodeId
§reflexive: SocketAddr
§record: Option<Record>

The requested node’s signed directory record, when the relay has one on file. None for legacy datagrams (no trailing presence byte) or when no record is available.

§

NotFound

Fields

§node: NodeId
§

PunchHint

Fields

§node: NodeId
§reflexive: SocketAddr
§

RelaySend

Fields

§payload: Vec<u8>
§

RelayDeliver

Fields

§payload: Vec<u8>
§

RegisterSigned

A self-authenticating registration: the relay verifies record itself rather than trusting an unauthenticated counter.

Fields

§record: Record
§

RegisterAuth

A symmetric MAC-authenticated registration for rootless relay/rendezvous: verified via verify_register_mac under obf_psk to prevent false upgrades.

Fields

§node: NodeId
§counter: u64
§mac: [u8; 16]
