compute_register_mac

Compute a 128-bit BLAKE2s-MAC for authenticated rootless rendezvous registration.

decode

Parse one datagram into a Message, or None if malformed/truncated.

Serialize msg onto out (appends; caller clears if reusing).

node_id

Derive a node’s rendezvous id from its X25519 public key.

verify_register_mac

Constant-time verification of mac against the expected BLAKE2s-MAC.

Type Aliases

NodeId

A rendezvous identity: BLAKE2s(DOMAIN || pubkey)[..16]. Distinct domain from yipd’s node_addr so the two derivations never coincide.
