PausedChannel

Struct PausedChannel

Source
pub struct PausedChannel<Tx, Rx> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A restored channel that may be registered with mio but cannot perform I/O.

Keeping the active Channel private prevents the receiving process from reading or writing a shared socket before the upgrade handoff commits.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<Tx, Rx> PausedChannel<Tx, Rx>

Source

pub fn fd(&self) -> RawFd

Returns the received descriptor for handoff bookkeeping.

Source

pub fn register( &mut self, registry: &Registry, token: Token, interests: Interest, ) -> Result<()>

Validate mio registration during the prepared handoff phase.

Registration changes neither the socket’s blocking mode nor its byte streams. No readiness is handled until PausedChannel::resume returns the active channel after commit.

Source

pub fn resume(self) -> Channel<Tx, Rx> ⓘ

Activate the restored channel after the upgrade handoff commits.
