Transport-neutral, public-safe errors for RiffDB.
Declared business outcomes are contract values and intentionally do not
appear in this crate. PublicError describes failures outside that
outcome algebra without retaining untrusted diagnostic text or internal
error sources.
Structs§
- Application
Error - One fully checked bounded application-semantic failure.
- Application
Error Context - Bounded symbolic context for one application failure.
- Application
Error Context Error - A symbolic context rejected before it could reach a public error.
- Application
Error Hint Error - An application hint did not refine the compatible kernel classification.
- Application
Source Span - Checked half-open source span in submitted RiffQL.
- Emergency
Internal Failure - Closed emergency failure when an internal incident cannot be identified.
- Incident
IdSource Error - A bounded, public-safe failure to obtain a fresh incident identifier.
- Internal
Error - An internal failure retaining its source for trusted tracing.
- Public
Error - A failure safe to display, serialize, or map at a public transport boundary.
- Validation
Issue - One stable validation code associated with a structured path.
- Validation
Issues - A non-empty bounded collection of validation issues.
- Validation
Path - A bounded path to a value that failed validation.
Enums§
- Application
Error Category - Coarse application failure category.
- Application
Error Code - Closed stable code registry for application-semantic failures.
- Application
FixCode - Closed machine-actionable remediation.
- Application
Operation - Closed application operation inventory used only for public-safe context.
- Application
Recovery Action - Closed application recovery action.
- Defect
Scope - What a defect puts in doubt (ADR-0250).
- Error
Class - A protocol-neutral classification for a public failure.
- Public
Error Details - Structured, caller-safe detail for a public failure.
- Public
Error Kind - The closed set of failures that RiffDB may expose to an untrusted caller.
- Public
Error Status Code - Authoritative status code carried for a public error on the gRPC wire.
- Recovery
Action - Safe, protocol-neutral recovery guidance for a public failure.
- Replication
Stream Error V3 - Closed, payload-free replication negotiation or stream refusal.
- Validation
Code - A stable, caller-safe explanation for one validation failure.
- Validation
Issues Error - A failure to construct a bounded collection of validation issues.
- Validation
Path Error - A failure to construct a bounded validation path.
- Validation
Path Segment - One non-secret location component in a validation issue.
