Drivetrain configuration.

Fields§

§engine_curve: EngineCurve

Engine torque curve.

§gear_ratios: Vec<f64>

Gear ratios (index 0 = first gear).

§final_drive: f64

Final drive ratio.

§current_gear: usize

Current gear (0-indexed).

§diff_type: DiffType

Differential type.

§clutch: f64

Clutch engagement factor (0 = fully open, 1 = fully engaged).

§engine_rpm: f64

Current engine RPM.

§engine_inertia: f64

Engine inertia (kg·m²).

Implementations§

Source§

impl PyDrivetrain

Source

pub fn six_speed(peak_torque: f64) -> Self

Create a default 6-speed drivetrain.

Source

pub fn wheel_torque(&self, throttle: f64) -> f64

Compute wheel torque given throttle (0-1) and the current state.

Source

pub fn upshift(&mut self)

Upshift to the next gear.

Source

pub fn downshift(&mut self)

Downshift.

Source

pub fn current_ratio(&self) -> f64

Current gear ratio.

Source

pub fn update_rpm(&mut self, wheel_angular_velocity: f64)

Update engine RPM from wheel speed.
