Expand description

Type of continuous force field applied to bodies.

Variants§

§

Constant

Constant directional force (e.g., wind).

Fields

§force: [Real; 3]

Force vector applied to all matching bodies.

§

PointGravity

Point attractor / repulsor.

Fields

§position: [Real; 3]

Position of the source.

§gm: Real

Gravitational constant * source mass (G*M). Negative = repulsion.

§epsilon: Real

Softening parameter to avoid singularity at r=0.

§

QuadraticDrag

Drag force proportional to velocity squared.

Fields

§cd: Real

Drag coefficient.

§

Vortex

Vortex field (rotation about an axis).

Fields

§center: [Real; 3]

Center of the vortex.

§axis: [Real; 3]

Axis of rotation (unit vector).

§omega: Real

Angular velocity of the vortex.

§decay: Real

Radial falloff (force = omega*r * exp(-r/decay)).
