Parallel to TextFieldAppearance::generate_appearance_with_font. When self.font == Font::Custom(name) AND custom_font is supplied, emits a hex-CID <HHHH...> Tj with a Type0 placeholder resource; the writer rewrites the placeholder into an indirect Reference to the document-level font object. Same contract on the Custom + None case: fails fast with a “font not registered” PdfError::EncodingError instead of silently falling back.
