MemoryId

Struct MemoryId

Source
pub struct MemoryId(/* private fields */);
Expand description

A memory item’s id (a ULID, so it sorts by creation time).

Implementations§

Source§

impl MemoryId

Source

pub fn new() -> Self

A fresh, random memory id.

Source

pub fn as_u128(self) -> u128

The raw 128-bit value.

Source

pub fn from_u128(value: u128) -> Self

Wrap a raw 128-bit value.

Source

pub fn content(owner: &MemoryScope, kind: MemoryKind, body: &[u8]) -> Self

A deterministic, content-addressed id: the same owner, kind, and body always produce the same id, so a deduped remember stores one item. The owner is the durable scope (stream, agent, user, and application, never the conversation), so the same fact in two conversations is one durable memory and two users never share an id. The hash is the wire crate’s one canonical content_id, so every SDK reproduces it from the same byte segments.
