Declarative definition of a single search-space parameter.

Constructed via linear_range, log_range, int_range, and categorical free functions rather than struct literal syntax — the free-function form is shorter at every call site and prevents users from constructing inconsistent variants by hand (e.g. log-scaled ints).

Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

Float

Continuous float in [low, high] (linear or log).

Lower bound (inclusive).

Upper bound (inclusive).

scale: Scale

Sampling scale (linear or log).

Int

Integer in [low, high] (inclusive).
