Expand description

What a hull program states about its patch beyond its varyings. The patch-constant varyings are its outputs per patch (SV_TessFactor, SV_InsideTessFactor, whatever the domain program reads); outputs of the interface are its control points’.

Fields§

§domain: TessDomain

The domain the hull program declares.

§partitioning: Partitioning

How the tessellator divides the edges.

§topology: TessTopology

What the tessellator outputs.

§input_control_points: u32

Control points the program reads per patch (1 to 32).

§output_control_points: u32

Control points the program writes per patch (1 to 32).

§max_tess_factor_bits: u32

The largest tessellation factor, as the bits of an f32 (the interface is hashed).

§patch_constants: Vec<Varying>

The patch-constant outputs, per patch, in the order the signature lists them.
