Configuration for a GossipProtocolEngine.

Fields§

§fanout_size: usize

Default number of peers to forward to (used by several strategies).

§max_hops: u8

Maximum hop-count before a message is silently dropped.

§dedup_cache_size: usize

Maximum number of message IDs retained in the dedup cache.

§gossip_interval_ms: u64

How often the engine should gossip (milliseconds); informational only.

§min_peers_for_gossip: usize

Minimum number of active peers required before forwarding.

§strategy: FanoutStrategy

Fanout strategy to apply on each forward.
