RowData

Struct RowData

Source
pub struct RowData<const COLS: usize, const PLANES: usize> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

One scan row’s complete data: pixel entries for all bit-planes (LSB-first), the inter-row blanking gap, and an optional tail word.

The gap is stored between plane 0 and planes 1.. and is streamed as the tail of plane 0’s segment (see the module-level DMA descriptor pattern).

Blanking is applied only around the single address change (the plane0→plane1 boundary); see the module-level documentation:

  • Plane 0 (LSB): prev_addr, lead blank (+ trail blank iff PLANES == 1)
  • Gap: prev_addr, OE blank — defers the address change to plane 1’s first pixel
  • Plane 1: current addr, trail blank (address just changed from plane 0)
  • Middle and last planes: current addr, OE active everywhere except latch
