#[non_exhaustive]pub enum Provenance {
ParityVerified,
Extension,
UserComposed,
}Expand description
Where a set of numbers came from, and therefore how far they can be trusted to match a published leaderboard.
#[non_exhaustive]: a family might need to describe provenance this enum has not
anticipated, and adding a variant must not be a breaking change.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
ParityVerified
Verified against the reference implementation for this metric family — pycocotools, panopticapi, TrackEval — within its documented tolerance. These are the numbers you can compare against a leaderboard.
Extension
A hotcoco extension: a real metric computed over a geometry or configuration the reference implementation does not support, such as oriented bounding boxes. Internally consistent and useful for comparing models against each other, but not benchmark-standard, because no reference exists to be standard against.
UserComposed
Composed by a user from public primitives. hotcoco has no idea whether it matches anything; it is reported as-is.
