Why a pack stream could not be scanned.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

BadSignature

The stream does not begin with the PACK signature.

UnsupportedVersion(u32)

The pack header names a version other than 2 or 3.

InvalidEntryType(u8)

An entry header carries a type code that no pack entry uses.

HeaderTooLong

An entry’s size or delta offset varint runs past any valid length.

Inflate(u64)

An entry’s compressed data is not a valid zlib stream (or the pack uses a different hash length than the scanner was created with).
