ImageAssetLoader

Enum ImageAssetLoader

Source
pub enum ImageAssetLoader {}
Expand description

Loads and decodes a Resource into a RenderImage. img uses it, through ImgResourceLoader, for URLs, file paths and registry entries.

The bytes come from the source. URLs go through the HTTP client and must return a success status. Paths are read from disk. Registry names are read from the crate::AssetRegistry. The format is then guessed from the bytes. Anything the image crate recognizes is decoded, and every frame that decodes is kept for GIF and animated WebP. Anything else is parsed as SVG.

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl Asset for ImageAssetLoader

Source§

type Source = Resource

The key that identifies the asset. Equal keys share one cache entry.
Source§

type Output = Result<Arc<RenderImage>, ImageCacheError>

The result of loading. Callers receive clones of the cached output, so keep it cheap to clone.
