Expand description

What one OverlayCut of a segmented frame did.

Fields§

§overlay_id: u64§result: Result<OverlayFrame, OverlayError>

OverlaySurface::record’s answer for this frame — OverlayFrame::Skipped for every cut of a frame whose main segment was not rendered (nothing was recorded for any overlay then).

§serviceability: CutServiceability

Whether the cut’s range was served on the overlay or kept on the main surface, and why (cut_is_servable): a kept cut’s overlay recorded an empty range, so its result is a transparent frame. The classification SurfaceRenderer::encode_segmented made for the frame — CutServiceability::Servable for a cut the frame’s encode never classified (a plain SurfaceRenderer::encode).
