Expand description

Internal material representation with physics coefficients. Users don’t construct these directly — they are derived from MaterialParams.

§

DiffuseReflector

Lambertian (diffuse) reflector.

Fields

§reflectance: f64

Fields

§ior: f64

Index of refraction.

§transmittance: f64

Transmittance at normal incidence for the given thickness.

§min_reflectance: f64

Minimum reflectance at normal incidence (user-specified, 0..1). Used as max(fresnel, this) to allow coated surfaces.

§

DiffuseTransmitter

Diffuse transmitter (opal/satin PMMA) with volume scattering.

Fields

§ior: f64

Index of refraction.

§scattering_coeff: f64

Scattering coefficient mu_s [1/m].

§absorption_coeff: f64

Absorption coefficient mu_a [1/m].

§asymmetry: f64

Henyey-Greenstein asymmetry parameter g (-1..1).

§thickness: f64

Slab thickness [m].

§min_reflectance: f64

Minimum reflectance at normal incidence (user-specified, 0..1).
