# Rust vs TypeScript Benchmarks

Run #002 compares:

- Rust `this-me` `0.3.1`
- TypeScript `this.me` `4.0.1`

Same machine, same operation shapes, same JSON output format.

The short version:

- Rust wins O(k) isolation, sustained mutation, eager fanout, and direct secret
  write/read.
- Run #001 found Rust's lazy invalidation gap.
- Run #002 closes that gap with source path versions and stale-on-read checks.
- Rust lazy mutation no longer scales with fanout in the mirror workload.
