# Rust Project Setup and Validation

- Establish baseline build, test, and lint workflows before feature development
- Validate all dependencies compile and integrate properly
- Set up proper error handling and logging infrastructure per PRD requirements
- Configure .gitignore to avoid committing build artifacts and temporary files
* **Acceptance Criteria:**
1. `cargo build` completes successfully
2. `cargo test` runs (even with no tests yet)
3. `cargo clippy` passes with no warnings
4. Basic error handling and logging framework initialized
5. CLI binary runs with --help flag
6. .gitignore properly excludes Rust build artifacts and run outputs

- Updated src/main.rs with proper error handling and logging setup
- .gitignore file with Rust-specific exclusions
- Basic project structure validation
- Cargo.lock committed for reproducible builds
