# Rusting Engine License 1.0

## 1. Permission
Subject to this license, you may use, copy, study, and modify Rusting Engine
(the "Engine"). You may also distribute the Engine and your modifications to
it without charge.
You may use the Engine for personal, educational, research, experimental, and
commercial purposes. In particular, you may create, distribute, and sell games,
simulations, visualizations, and other applications made with the Engine
("Created Works"). A Created Work may include the compiled parts of the Engine
needed for it to run.
You may also create, distribute, and sell original assets, tools, extensions,
and plug-ins for the Engine, provided they do not contain a substantial portion
of the Engine and are not substitutes for the Engine itself.
## 2. No Commercial Resale of the Engine
You may not sell, license for a fee, rent, or charge for access to the Engine,
whether in its original form or with modifications, when the product or service
being offered is substantially the Engine or is marketed as a substitute for
the Engine.
This restriction does not prohibit charging money for a Created Work permitted
by Section 1 merely because that Created Work was built with, links to, or
includes compiled parts of the Engine.
## 3. Attribution and Redistribution
You may not claim that you created the original Engine.
Every copy or substantial portion of the Engine that you distribute, including
a modified version, must:
1. include this license and the copyright notice above;
2. clearly identify Vasyl Trefilov as the original author of Rusting Engine;
3. clearly describe any significant modifications you made; and
4. be distributed under this same license.
A Created Work distributed only in compiled form does not need to disclose its
own source code. However, its documentation, credits, or other notices supplied
with it must include the following acknowledgement:
> Uses Rusting Engine by Vasyl Trefilov.
## 4. No Endorsement
This license does not grant permission to use the author's name or the Rusting
Engine name or branding to imply endorsement of you or your work.
## 5. Termination
Your rights under this license terminate automatically if you violate its
terms. If this is your first violation and you correct it within 30 days after
receiving written notice, your rights will be reinstated automatically.
## 6. Disclaimer of Warranty and Liability
THE ENGINE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR
A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY
LAW, THE AUTHOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY
ARISING FROM THE ENGINE OR ITS USE.
## 7. Third-Party Components
This license applies only to material in the Engine for which Vasyl Trefilov
owns the copyright. Third-party libraries, assets, and other components remain
subject to their own license terms.
