Expand description

What the settings screen asks the application to do, because it reaches past the screen.

The first five, the editor, the sound choice and asking before messages between tabs are choices already applied to the running application and only waiting to be written down. The rest are work only the layers that own it can do: the setup wizard’s steps and the engine’s volumes.

Variants§

§

Language(String)

Store the language. The application already speaks it.

§

Theme(String)

Store the theme. The application already wears it.

§

Icons(IconMode)

Store the icon mode. The application already draws in it.

§

ReducedMotion(bool)

Store reduced motion. The application already moves that way.

§

Engine(EngineKind)

Store the container engine and look for it again.

§

Editor(Editor)

Store the editor a file opens in, and open files in it from now on.

§

Sound(Sound)

Store what opening a sound does, and do that from now on.

§

AskFirst(bool)

Store whether the first message from one tab to another asks the person, and do that from now on.

§

FreezeIdle(bool)

Store whether a profile whose container is doing nothing is frozen in the background, and do that from now on.

§

OpenEngineStep

Run the setup wizard’s engine step on its own. This is what the repair strip asks for.

§

OpenLocationStep

Run the setup wizard’s location step on its own, to move the store somewhere else.

§

RefreshIdentity(SafeName)

Write the profile’s stored login into every workspace that uses it. Confirmed.

§

SignOut(SafeName)

Delete the profile’s credentials volume. Confirmed.

§

OnClose(OnClose)

Store what happens to the containers once no QCode is open.

§

BackupEvery(BackupEvery)

Store how often the open workspaces are backed up, and back them up that often from now on.

§

UpdateNotice(bool)

Turn the family’s update notice on or off, for every Quvyta application.

§

InstallService

Install the background service.

§

RemoveService

Remove the background service.

impl<T> Downcast for T
where T: Any,

Source§

fn into_any(self: Box<T>) -> Box<dyn Any>

Convert Box<dyn Trait> (where Trait: Downcast) to Box<dyn Any>. Box<dyn Any> can then be further downcast into Box<ConcreteType> where ConcreteType implements Trait.
