Never on a timer.

§

Five

Every five minutes.

§

Fifteen

Every fifteen minutes. A round with no change writes nothing, so the cost of a short interval is one container start; fifteen minutes keeps the work a session can lose small without waking a laptop on battery every minute.

Hour

Every hour.
