ConfigError

Enum ConfigError

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum ConfigError { OwnPort, Renewal, ResponseTimeout, BbmdPort, BbmdAddress, BbmdIsSelf, Budget, NotForeign, MulticastMode, }
Expand description

Why a Link can’t run.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

OwnPort

The node’s own UDP port is 0.

§

Renewal

A foreign device’s time-to-live is 0, or its renewal interval isn’t above zero and below the time-to-live.

§

ResponseTimeout

A foreign device’s response timeout is zero.

§

BbmdPort

A foreign device’s BBMD has UDP port 0.

§

BbmdAddress

A foreign device’s BBMD is the unspecified address or a group address (Groups::contains), which no BBMD answers from.

§

BbmdIsSelf

A foreign device’s BBMD is the node itself.

§

Budget

The datagram budget is below MIN_BUDGET octets.

§

NotForeign

Node::retarget on a node that is not a foreign device.

§

MulticastMode

A multicast group as the subnet’s broadcast address (B/IP-M, Annex J.8) in Mode::Foreign: a foreign device broadcasts through its BBMD, never to a group.
