hooks

asd hooks — show installed ASD git hooks, their triggers, commands, and current status. Hooks are installed by asd init and live in .asd/hooks/ with core.hooksPath pointing git at that directory.

hydrate

asd hydrate [--dir <path>] [--verify] — read the .asd/v1/ sidecar and write its contents back into the ASG repo. Inverse of asd sync.

impact

asd impact <qname> — blast-radius view before editing a symbol.

index

asd index <path> — walk a directory for source files we have adapters for, parse them, and write Symbol + EffectDecl records into the ASG.

init

asd init [--no-hooks] — create (or reuse) an ASD repository, stamp the schema-version marker, install git hooks, and update .gitignore.

asd repair [--fix] [--json] — scan for ASG integrity issues and optionally apply safe auto-corrections.

repo

asd repo {add,list,use,rm,show} — manage the shared ASD repo registry at ~/.config/asd/repos.toml. See docs/repo-registry.md.

scopes

asd scopes [list] — discoverability for named scope aliases defined in .asd/scopes.toml. Most field users have not realized that --scope foo and --paths "Packages/AudioEngine/**" already work on search, prepare-change, investigate, impact, checklist, and since. This command makes the available scopes visible and prints a usage hint when the file is missing.

asd scorecard — benchmark scorecard across the five dimensions.

scratch

asd scratch … — ephemeral working notes with a promote-to-ledger path.

search

asd search <query> — ranked concept search over indexed symbols.

sidecar

asd sidecar migrate — one-shot migration from the old .asd/v1/ sidecar to the Plan B .asd/conclusions/ layout.

asd since <sha> — symbols in files changed since a commit + blast radius.

status

asd status — show index health, age, modified files, and sidecar lifecycle.

sync

asd sync [--dir <path>] [--prune] — mirror live ASG state into the .asd/v1/ on-disk sidecar. The sidecar travels with git commit, letting a fresh git clone hydrate an ASD repo without a network registry.

task_close

asd task-close — capture proof, validation result, and affected symbols and write them atomically to the ledger when closing a task.

test_summary

asd test-summary — read test-runner output on stdin and emit a compact, failures-only summary. Pairs with ASD’s test-gap detection: run your tests, pipe the log in, and hand the agent only the failures + counts.

think

asd think <verb> — capture agent thinking (Plan G t-003).

trace

asd trace -- <cmd> [args...] — run a Python program under the ASD runtime tracer (tools/asd_tracer.py), then ingest the resulting JSON report into ASG as Trace records. Updates each symbol’s EffectDecl verification block to reflect what the tracer actually observed.

trust

asd trust — emit the State Trust Score for the current workspace.

verify_effects

asd verify-effects <qname> — compare declared effects against what the static checker infers from the current source, write mismatches back to the EffectDecl, and report verification status.

watch

asd watch — keep the index fresh automatically (suite-onboarding t-009).

workflow

asd workflow — view task workflow session history.

worktree
