Readiness

Struct Readiness

Source
pub struct Readiness<'a, M = Local>
where M: Mode,
{ /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A wait for a registered source to be ready for an Interest, returned by Registration::ready.

It completes once the runtime finds the source ready, or once a wait of the runtime fails. Dropping it before then gives up the wait. It fails on its first poll if the OS refuses to watch the source for the interest.

Source§

fn pin_drop(self: Pin<&mut Self>)

🔬This is a nightly-only experimental API. (pin_ergonomics)

impl<M> Future for Readiness<'_, M>
where M: Mode,

Source§

type Output = Result<(), Error>

The type of value produced on completion.
Source§

fn poll(self: Pin<&mut Self>, cx: &mut Context<'_>) -> Poll<Result<()>>

Attempts to resolve the future to a final value, registering the current task for wakeup if the value is not yet available. Read more
