Struct Permission

Source
pub struct Permission(/* private fields */);
Expand description

Describes the ability of a user to perform a certain action.

Permissions can be mixed together like integers with | and &.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Permission

Source

pub const NONE: Permission

No permissions are set (server could have been configured without ACL support).

Source

pub const READ: Permission

You can access the data of a node and can list its children.

Source

pub const WRITE: Permission

You can set the data of a node.

Source

pub const CREATE: Permission

You can create a child node.

Source

pub const DELETE: Permission

You can delete a child node (but not necessarily this one).

Source

pub const ADMIN: Permission

You can alter permissions on this node.

Source

pub const ALL: Permission

You can do anything.

Source

pub fn can(self, permissions: Permission) -> bool

Check that all permissions are set.

use zookeeper_async::Permission;

(Permission::READ | Permission::WRITE).can(Permission::WRITE); // -> true
Permission::ADMIN.can(Permission::CREATE); // -> false
