Default settings applied to all images in the pipeline.

Individual image settings take precedence over these defaults.

Fields

format: Option<String>

Default output format: “oci” or “docker”

build_args: HashMap<String, String>

Default build arguments passed to all image builds

no_cache: bool

Whether to skip cache by default

cache_mounts: Vec<ZCacheMount>

Default cache mounts applied to all RUN steps in all images. Individual ZImagefile step-level cache mounts are additive.

retries: Option<u32>

Default retry count for failed RUN steps (0 = no retries)

platforms: Vec<String>

Default target platforms for multi-arch builds (e.g., linux/amd64, linux/arm64). When set, each image is built once per platform and a manifest list is created.
