Expand description

Which overlay backend a layer-store extraction targets. The on-disk whiteout representation differs between the two (kernel: 0:0 char devices + trusted.overlay.opaque; fuse: .wh.<name> files + user.overlay.opaque), so each backend gets its OWN per-digest subdir + sentinel and the two never share bytes.
