Configuration for selecting and configuring a container runtime

Variants§

§

Auto

Automatically select the best available runtime

Selection logic:

  • On Linux: Uses bundled libcontainer runtime (no external binary needed), falls back to Docker
  • On macOS: Uses sandbox runtime if available, falls back to Docker
  • On Windows: Use Docker directly
  • If no runtime can be initialized, returns an error

Mock

Use the mock runtime for testing and development
