HashedIdCounter

Enum HashedIdCounter

Source
pub enum HashedIdCounter {
    Advances,
    Skipped,
}
Expand description

Re-exported because ComposeOptions carries them in public fields, exactly as zerodds-idl-compose re-exports them: a caller that cannot name the type cannot construct the options. Whether a @hashid member advances the sequential counter.

A named type and not a bare bool, because Options is Default and a boolean field defaulting to false would silently take RTI’s reading for every caller that did not think about it. This defaults to the reading three of the four implementations take.

Variants§

§

Advances

The next unannotated member is the hashed id plus one. Cyclone, Fast DDS and the second of §7.3.1.2.1.1’s two sentences.

§

Skipped

The hashed id is skipped: the next unannotated member is numbered from the last declared id, or from zero when there is none. RTI Connext, and the first of the two sentences.
