pub enum ParameterRole {
Member,
Optional,
}Expand description
Which of §7.4.1.2’s two roles a parameter header stands in.
The header is the same header — the id, the length, the short and extended forms are all one clause. The role decides what the length field counts, and whether a member that took no value writes a header at all.
Variants§
Member
A member of a @mutable type. Rules (24) and (25). Absence is
written by leaving the parameter out.
Optional
An @optional member of a type that is not @mutable. Rule (19).
Absence is written as a header with a length of zero.
