WstringLengthCounts

Enum WstringLengthCounts

Source
pub enum WstringLengthCounts {
    Octets,
    Characters,
}
Expand description

C1 — what a wstring’s length prefix counts.

The byte-layer half of zerodds_ast_layout::WstringLengthCounts, which carries the runs and the argument. Declared again here rather than imported for the reason PlCdr1Framing is declared again: this crate depends on nothing and is not going to start.

Variants§

§

Octets

The number of octets the code units occupy.

XTypes 1.3 §7.4.1.1.2, and CORBA 3.3 part 2 §9.3.1.6’s GIOP 1.2 wstring. Cyclone, OpenDDS, omniORB, TAO and JacORB.

§

Characters

The number of code units, whatever each one weighs.

CORBA §9.3.1.6’s GIOP 1.1 wstring, and Fast CDR’s wcslen. RTI under XCDR1, Fast DDS, and both ROS type supports.
