An expression, with the two properties the walk’s seams cannot carry: whether it needs a try, and which indirection the place it names lives behind.

Variants

Plain(Expr)

An ordinary expression.

Fallible(Expr)

A call that answers WireError!T: try in a statement or initialiser position, (try …) inside a larger expression.

OptionalSlot(Expr)

The ?T field of an @optional member, as a place a decoded T is about to be written into — the coercion is Zig’s own.

ExternalSlot(Expr)

The *T field of an @external member, likewise; the decoded value goes through zdwire.zdPtr to get storage.
