Enum Extensibility

Source
pub enum Extensibility {
    Final,
    Appendable,
    Mutable,
}
Expand description

Struct extensibility. DDS-XTypes 1.3 §7.2.4.4.

Ordered so that it can sit in a layout key, which the plan cache keys on: the order is the declaration order and carries no meaning of its own.

Variants§

§

Final

@final — no evolution.

§

Appendable

@appendable — members may be appended.

§

Mutable

@mutable — members carry ids and may be reordered.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Extensibility

Source

pub const ALL: [Self; 3]

Every extensibility XTypes defines.

Source

pub const fn as_str(self) -> &'static str

Source spelling.

Source

pub fn parse(value: &str) -> Option<Self>

Parse a configuration value, in the spelling Self::as_str produces.

An unknown value returns None rather than falling back to a default: the setting decides whether a DHEADER goes on the wire, and a typo in it must be loud.
