pub enum WstringUnitWidth {
Two,
Four,
}Expand description
C3 — how wide one UTF-16 code unit is on the wire.
The transmission code set’s width. No GIOP version fixes it and XTypes Table 31 fixes it at two, so it varies independently of C1 and C2 — which is the whole reason these are three types.
Variants§
Two
Two octets. XTypes Table 31, Cyclone, OpenDDS, Fast DDS, omniORB, JacORB.
Four
Four octets, a code unit zero-extended — not a code point,
so U+1D11E stays the surrogate pair 34d80000 1edd0000.
RTI under XCDR1, TAO, and both ROS type supports.
