Expand description

Coarse, exhaustive classification of a StoreError, stable for hosts that map engine failures onto their own status codes. Every variant of StoreError maps to exactly one kind; adding a variant is a compile error here until it is classified.

Variants§

§

Io

An operating-system or filesystem operation failed.

§

InvalidArgument

A caller-supplied path or schema was invalid.

§

StoreBusy

Another process or handle owns the store’s writer lock.

§

Unsupported

The requested mode or operation is unsupported.

§

Corrupt

Persisted data failed validation.

§

BudgetExceeded

A configured memory, disk, or work budget was exceeded.

§

OutOfMemory

A checked allocation could not be reserved.

§

DimensionMismatch

Vector dimensions disagreed.

§

EpochMismatch

The declared epoch differs from the persisted identity.

§

EpochUndeclared

The store requires an epoch declaration and none was supplied.

§

EpochUnstamped

An epoch was declared for a store with no stamped identity.

§

Internal

An internal invariant failed.

§

EmptyBatch

A batch or active segment was empty.

§

Cancelled

Cooperative cancellation stopped the operation.

§

ReadOnly

The store is read-only.

§

Closing

The store is closing.

§

Closed

The store is closed.

§

Panic

A background or query-pool thread panicked.

§

Synchronization

A synchronization primitive was poisoned or unavailable.
