ScanOrder

Enum ScanOrder

Source
pub enum ScanOrder {
    Storage,
    TimestampAscending,
    TimestampDescending,
    Attribute {
        column: ColumnId,
        direction: ScanDirection,
    },
}
Expand description

Deterministic ordering used by Store::scan_documents.

Variants§

§

Storage

Immutable segments in snapshot order and then the active segment, with ascending row numbers inside every source.

§

TimestampAscending

Ascending timestamp with ascending document id as the tie breaker.

§

TimestampDescending

Descending timestamp with ascending document id as the tie breaker.

§

Attribute

A declared U64, I64 or F64 user attribute in direction, with ascending document id as the tie breaker. F64 compares numerically and -0.0 equals +0.0. A row whose value is missing or NaN has no orderable value and sorts after every orderable row in both directions.

Fields

§column: ColumnId

Declared user attribute that supplies the sort key.

§direction: ScanDirection

Direction applied to orderable values.
