Expand description

Typed failure from construction before any graph artifact is published.

Variants§

§

Profile(GraphProfileError)

The pinned epoch has no measured graph-construction profile.

§

CheckpointIo

Reading, replacing, or removing the resumable checkpoint failed.

Fields

§path: PathBuf

Checkpoint or checkpoint-temporary path.

§source: Error

Underlying filesystem failure.

§

CheckpointCorrupt(String)

Checkpoint bytes failed their closed contract and were removed for a fresh retry.

§

BudgetExhausted

A caller work limit stopped after atomically checkpointing completed batches.

Fields

§rows_completed: u64

Rows advanced by this invocation and persisted in the checkpoint.

§

UnitNorm

An angular segment carried a finite f32 row outside the unit-norm band.

Fields

§row_id: u32

Dense segment-local row that violated the epoch declaration.

§squared_norm: f64

Squared L2 norm computed from the persisted f32 row.

§tolerance: f64

Absolute permitted deviation from a squared norm of one.

§

Cancelled

Caller cancellation stopped a batch without publishing partial results.

Fields

§partial: bool

Permanently false: graph builds never return partial artifacts.

§

Timeout

A deadline stopped a batch without publishing partial results.

Fields

§partial: bool

Permanently false: graph builds never return partial artifacts.

§

ReadCancelled

Store close stopped a batch before its snapshot could be released.

Fields

§partial: bool

Permanently false: graph builds never return partial artifacts.

§

Segment(SegmentError)

The sealed segment did not expose valid Bit4 or f32 regions.

§

Quant(QuantError)

A Bit4 query or score failed validation.

§

NodeBlock(GraphNodeError)

The frozen node-block writer rejected constructed values.

§

Geometry(String)

Checked row, dimension, or allocation geometry was invalid.

§

NodeIdOutOfRange

A graph node id was checked before address arithmetic and was out of range.

Fields

§node_id: u32

Rejected dense row id.

§node_count: u32

Valid dense row count.

§

Store(StoreError)

Store budget or accounting rejected the graph construction arena.
