Expand description

WAL creation, staging, or group-flush failure.

Variants§

§

NonEmptyWal

The requested path already contains WAL bytes.

Fields

§length: u64

Existing byte length.

§

RecoveredBytesOverflow

Recovered record byte accounting exceeded the address space.

§

GroupTooLarge

One encoded record cannot fit the configured byte bound.

Fields

§encoded_bytes: usize

Bytes required by the pending group and record.

§max_group_bytes: usize

Configured maximum.

§

SequenceExhausted

The u64 sequence space has no successor.

§

Header(RegistryError)

WAL header registry lookup failed.

§

Record(RecordEncodeError)

Record framing failed.

§

Poisoned(&'static str)

A shared writer mutex was poisoned.

§

Failed

The writer failed permanently after visibility was published.

Fields

§kind: ErrorKind

Underlying I/O error class.

§detail: Arc<str>

Stable error detail retained for followers.
