Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

ManifestMissing

manifest.ze is absent, but the WAL or segment files prove that a committed snapshot existed and data it covered is now unreachable.

ManifestCorrupt

The manifest frame, checksum, or payload failed to decode.

ManifestAheadOfWal

The manifest covers WAL sequences that the WAL does not hold.

SegmentMissing

A segment the manifest references does not exist.

SegmentCorrupt

A segment header, length, identity, or file trailer failed validation.

SegmentMismatch

A segment header disagrees with the manifest’s record of it.

SegmentRegionCorrupt

A segment region’s checksum does not match its bytes.

SegmentIndexInvalid

A checksum-valid region failed its decoder or cross-structure checks.

WalMissing

The WAL is absent although the manifest covers WAL sequences.

WalHeaderCorrupt

The WAL file header is truncated or invalid.

WalRecordCorrupt

A WAL record failed framing, checksum, or sequence validation.

WalRecordInvalid

A checksum-valid WAL record cannot be replayed into the store.

Unreadable

A store file exists but could not be read.

PurgeIntentCorrupt

The pending purge intent purge.ze failed its frame or decoder.
