Configuration for the compaction probe.

Fields

enabled: bool

Enable compaction probe validation. Default: false.

model: String

Model override for probe LLM calls. Empty string = use the summary provider.

WARNING: non-Haiku models significantly increase cost per probe. With Sonnet: ~$0.01–0.03 per probe vs ~$0.001–0.003 with Haiku.

threshold: f32

Minimum score to pass without warnings. Default: 0.6. Scores in [hard_fail_threshold, threshold) trigger SoftFail (warn + proceed).

hard_fail_threshold: f32

Score below this triggers HardFail (block compaction). Default: 0.35.

max_questions: usize

Maximum number of probe questions to generate. Default: 3.

timeout_secs: u64

Timeout for the entire probe (both LLM calls) in seconds. Default: 15.
