pub struct DebugConfig {
pub enabled: bool,
pub output_dir: PathBuf,
pub format: DumpFormat,
pub traces: TraceConfig,
pub include_raw_images: bool,
}Expand description
Debug dump configuration, nested under [debug] in TOML.
When enabled = true, LLM request/response payloads are written to disk for inspection.
Each session creates a subdirectory under output_dir named by session ID.
§Example (TOML)
[debug]
enabled = true
format = "raw"Fields§
§enabled: boolEnable debug dump on startup (CLI --debug-dump takes priority).
output_dir: PathBufDirectory where per-session debug dump subdirectories are created.
format: DumpFormatOutput format: "json" (default), "raw" (API payload), or "trace" (OTLP spans).
traces: TraceConfigOTel trace configuration (only used when format = "trace").
include_raw_images: boolInclude full raw base64 MessagePart::Image bytes in debug dumps instead of a
redacted <redacted image: ...> marker (#6306).
Default: false. Image payloads are redacted by default to avoid writing
potentially large or sensitive binary data to disk on an opt-in debugging feature.
Enable only when a developer explicitly needs full wire-payload fidelity for
image-related debugging.
