Pre-allocated scratch buffers for canny_with_scratch. Canny edge detection on a single-channel HWC image.

Steps: Sobel gradients -> non-maximum suppression -> double-threshold hysteresis. Returns a binary edge map with values 0.0 or 1.0. Reusable scratch buffers for canny_with_scratch.

Pre-allocating these avoids per-call allocation overhead in hot loops (e.g., processing video frames).
