Fields (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.

usage: Usage

Provider usage summed over the summarization requests. total_tokens stays 0, as in SessionStats::usage.

cost_usd: Option<f64>

Dollar cost of usage at the summarization model’s rates, with the crate’s rule: None once any request with non-zero usage could not be priced (a summarizer with cost: None), and when nothing was priced. is_unpriced tells them apart.

requests: u32

Summarization requests that returned a response, accepted or not.

Whether no summarization request was counted.

pub fn is_unpriced(&self) -> bool

Whether compaction spend happened that cannot be priced: non-zero usage with no cost_usd. false for an empty bucket.

pub fn merge(&mut self, other: &CompactionSpend)

Fold another bucket into this one — for a caller accumulating across runs. Keeps cost_usd None once any part is unpriced.
