What an extension runs with: its grants, its pi.events policy, and the folder it loads modules from without file access. It has no default, so every file says which one it gets.

grants: Grants

What it may reach.

events: EventPolicy

The channels it may send to, and hear from, extensions whose grants differ.

root: Option<PathBuf>

The folder that holds its package and the package’s own dependencies.

What a file chest cannot vouch for runs with: no grant, the isolated event policy, and modules only from root, a folder or the file itself.
