Struct Query

A query into some YAML document.

Internally, a query is one or more “component” selectors, each of which is either a mapping key or list index to descend through.

For example, with the following YAML document:

foo:
  bar:
    baz:
      - [a, b, c]
      - [d, e, f]

The sub-list member e would be identified via the path foo, bar, baz, 1, 1.

Constructs a new query from the given path components.

Returns None if the component list is empty.

pub fn parent(&self) -> Option<Self>

Returns a query for the “parent” path of the query’s current path, or None the current query has no parent.
